‘My Parents Live On My Boat’ is an eco-tale about sailing lifestyle and ocean conservation for sea lovers, little scientists and future green leaders.
Come Aboard! Join Captain Kwaza, a little girl who really think she is the captain of her boat as she explores the Mediterranean Sea with her parents. Along the way, you will share her boat life and the extraordinary encounters with dolphins, sea turtles and other smaller creatures.
On this slow travel, Captain Kwaza has fun taking action to save the sea. The story unfolds around environmental facts about the sea conservation and marine endangered species. She greets her dolphin friends, visits a sea turtle rescue center and dream about mermaids to help the beach clean-ups and get rid of the pollution… She learns about ‘olivine’ mineral and ocean decarbonisation to save the planktons.
Future captains will love the boating terms glossary at the end. This story is based on my family real-life experiences and travels in the Med Sea which I hope will inspire the little scientists and green leaders.
